What is HydroBloom?
HydroBloom is a hydration tracking app that helps you build a healthy water drinking habit. Log your water intake with one tap, get smart reminders throughout the day, and watch a virtual plant grow from a tiny seed to full bloom as you reach your daily hydration goal. Available on iOS and Android.
How much water should I drink daily?
It depends on your body weight. During onboarding, HydroBloom calculates a personalized daily goal based on your weight — this is free for all users. A general formula is about 30-35ml per kg of body weight (e.g., 70 kg = ~2.1L). Your goal is fully adjustable if you want to fine-tune it.
Does it track different beverages?
Yes! Premium users can track water, tea, coffee, juice, and custom drinks. Each beverage type is logged separately so you can see exactly what you are consuming throughout the day. Free users can track water intake, which covers the primary hydration need for most people.
Is HydroBloom free?
Yes! The core experience is completely free — including the 10-stage plant growth animation, personalized daily goal based on your weight, basic reminders, and 7 days of history. Premium ($2.99/month) unlocks all beverage types (tea, coffee, juice), smart adaptive reminders, unlimited history, a home screen widget, and weekly & monthly hydration reports.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your hydration data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security (RLS), meaning only you can access your own records. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple and Google — we never see your credit card information.
